Families Healing Together: A One Day Family Retreat to Celebrate the Summer Solstice
Monday, June 23 | 10 AM – 4 PM | At Primrose Studio, Fort Collins, CO
We believe that healing doesn’t happen in isolation — it happens together, in community, and in nature. This gathering invites partners, parents, children, and caregivers into a shared community experience of presence, release, and celebration.
This family retreat is an opportunity to unplug, reconnect, and breathe deeply in a healing space with your loved ones. Join us for a one-day family retreat designed to nourish your hearts, bodies, and relationships — all held in a loving and supportive container in nature.
Led by Jen Phippen, LCSW, this unique retreat will guide families through a day of healing and joy with a beautiful blend of mindful practices and playful connection.
The day will consist of:
Family Healing Circle – Connect on a deeper level in a safe and compassionate space where everyone’s voice is honored.
Breathwork – Calm the nervous system and reconnect with your body through conscious breath. The children will work to facilitate the breathwork or are welcome to join in.
Gentle Yoga – All-levels movement to help ground and open the body. Children and adults are both welcome to join.
Choreographed Dance Party – A fun, expressive, and liberating experience for all ages — no dance experience needed!
Time in Nature – Surrounded by the beauty of Fort Collins, enjoy the peace that only nature can bring.
Snacks Provided – Nourishing bites to keep you fueled throughout the day.
About the Collaborators:
This soulful event will be co-facilitated by the radiant Molly Dowell-Weaver and Jesse Grace, alongside Jen, at the serene Primrose Studio in Fort Collins, Colorado.
Molly Dowell-Weaver
Molly Dowell-Weaver is a yoga and dance instructor based in Northern Colorado. She is originally from Massachusetts but has been living in Colorado for the past 10 years and it has become home. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Dance from Colorado State University in 2020, and is currently pursuing a Masters of Art in Dance/Movement Therapy from Lesley University. She received her 200-Hr Yoga certification from Om Ananda in Fort Collins, Colorado in 2020.
Jesse Grace
Jesse Grace is the founder of Grace Sound Healing. Originally from South Africa, she has been in the United States since 2012. She has a history of participating in competitive sports, having been a D1 tennis player in college and an avid runner and Crossfitter. She has practiced yoga on and off since childhood, but her journey deepened in 2022 when a hostel she was staying at in Bali offered daily classes. This experience led her to a silent meditation retreat in Thailand, where she met her mentor or Guru – a modern-day Yogi from the Netherlands, rich in Vedic knowledge. She completed her 200hr Yoga teacher training in Rishikesh, India, in the Himalayas, focusing on Hatha, Ashtanga Vinyasa, pranayama, meditation, and Ayurveda. Jesse also works as a part-time instructor at CSU, teaching video production and visual communication, and is an Emmy-nominated documentary filmmaker. She has a master’s degree in public communication and technology and studied journalism and nutrition in undergrad.
Whether you're navigating transitions, seeking more harmony at home, or simply looking to spend intentional time together, this retreat offers a loving invitation to reconnect — with yourself, your family, and the Earth.
