​The transition to motherhood is one of the most significant life changes that can happen to you in this life. Yet our culture has no rituals to honor this transition. It is more than understandable that your mind, body and spirit is having difficulty adjusting. Many women do not have support in this incredibly important transition into motherhood.

Often our experience of having a baby is not what we expected. These difficulties are ignored in our society. Transitioning to life with a newborn can often feel overwhelming to manage. More than a quarter of new mothers experience mood and emotional changes beyond the normal adjustment period. When you start having significant depression or anxiety in the postpartum period, you may be experiencing Postpartum Depression or Postpartum Anxiety.
