Psychotherapy and Healing

Meet Holly

Holly Ballard

Master Clinical Candidate

I’m Holly, and I’m so glad you’re here!

I approach therapy with the belief that you already have everything you need within you to grow, heal, and find your highest good. My role is to walk beside you with authenticity and provide you with tools, support, and a secure space to show up exactly as you are, without excuse or apology.

I utilize frameworks like Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Internal Family Systems informed therapy, depending on what fits best for you. I also believe our bodies hold deep wisdom. They can serve as teachers and healers—if we have the courage to tune out society’s noise, learn to truly listen to ourselves, and step into our power. My goal as your therapist is to tune in to your experience and work with you to co-create a space that feels affirming and supportive. Together, we’ll explore what’s not working for you and find new ways for you to cope, heal, and thrive.

This sometimes means confronting hard truths in service of growth. Because I believe clarity is kindness, I will approach our work together with loving honesty and candidness. Peace and freedom are two other values I live by. If you aren’t already clear on what your values are, we will work to help you define what matters to you and how that affects your relationships, thoughts, feelings, and choices. Often this means peeling back the layers of guilt, shame, and responsibility for others that we were never meant to carry so we can get back to who we were meant to be all along.

That said, therapy can be serious, but it doesn’t always have to be! I bring a healthy dose of humor to everything I do in life, including my work as a therapist. When I’m not in session, I love to read and get creative through cross stitch. After living in three other states, I’m always excited to hike and explore this beautiful state of Colorado that I now call home. I also try to practice what I preach about self-care by meditating, doing yoga, journaling, and prioritizing my physical, emotional, and spiritual needs.

It takes great courage and determination to go beneath the surface and do this work, but I can tell you from personal experience that the payoff is profound. As Ram Dass said, “We’re all just walking each other home”. It would be my honor to accompany you on this journey.
